I recently took the opportunity to do a bit of shopping at the Body Shop when they were having a 12hour 20% off everything sale. I normally don’t spend this much at once, in fact, I am more of a saver than a spender, but I took this chance to buy some items I had been eyeing off for a while.
Chamomile Silky Cleansing Oil
I had heard really good things about this cleansing oil for removing makeup without stripping. I have used it once, and I loved it. It smelt really nice, not as strong as I thought it would be. It took all my make up off and felt really nice. A good change from a miscellar water.
Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask
I am really excited to use this mask! Over the winter my skin got quite dry and I was looking for a fix. Although it is now truly summer I will still be trying this out and hopefully it will be perfect for next winter. It has a jelly-ish texture and smells kind of like white marshmallows. Mmmm.
I was looking for a slanted brush for eyeliner or work close to the lash line. The brush is really thin and pointed so I think it will be perfect for that.
Again, I had heard really good things about this highlighter. Supposedly it can be used as an illuminating primer as well as normal highlighter. I am not sure how it would go all over the face because it seems to have little chunks of glitter, but as a highlighter I think this will be beautiful.
Olive Body Butter
I really like this body butter. It has a really nice, light, fresh scent. Perfect for summer.
Aloe Soothing Night Cream
As part of my changeover of products to cruelty free I was faced with finding a new night cream. My skin can get sensitive, so I thought I would give this a go because it is for sensitive skin. I have been using it for about a week now and so far so good! It has a light scent and is very hydrating.
Shea Body Butter (mini)
Because I had spent over a certain amount I received a little gift with my purchases which included this mini body butter and a hand cream. I gave the hand cream to my mum, but this mini body butter will be perfect for travelling and it smells divine. Not too strong a smell, a nice, light, nutty, buttery scent.
So that was my Body Shop haul! Comment below and let me know what your favourite Body Shop products are. I would be open to another haul to try your recommended products…
Bye for now, Christina xo
