Christmas is coming! For me Christmas is the time of eating a lot of food, meeting up with friends and family and the awkward gift unwrapping. Ah, good times. I have decided to make a mini beauty Christmas wish list this year of items I would love to get, but am too stingy to buy for myself.
First up is the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit. Oh, so beautiful. This Edit contains six of their powders, including two blushes and one bronzer. To be honest, even to receive one of these powers would be lovely. I have seen so many good reviews and want to try them so bad. However, they are pricey. On mecca.com.au they are $117. Maybe next year…
Second on my list is the Tarte Park Ave Princess Contour Palette Volume II, which you can find at Sephora for $54. This palette contains their famous Park Ave Princess matte bronzer which looks incredible. As a very pale girl I am a bit scared about using bronzers for the fear they will make me look orange. But I think this one from Tarte looks absolutely beautiful.
Thirdly, anything Jo Malone. Although I have only had the pleasure of smelling a few of their perfumes, all their scents have had such rave reviews that I am honestly up for trying anything. However, again they are pricey, ranging from $95-$240 on the Jo Malone website. Unfortunately that is outside by price range at the moment, but fingers crossed for next year.
Lastly, on my beauty Christmas wish list is Kate Somerville skincare. I have not tried any of her skincare yet, but many of her products are on my list of skincare products to try once the products I am using at the moment run out. In particular I have been eyeing off her moisturisers – Nourish Daily Moisturiser, Oil Free Moisturiser and Goat Milk Cream. These moisturisers go for anywhere between $70 and $86.
So that’s it this year for my Christmas wish list. I hope it gave you some ideas. They are mostly pricey items that I would not normally buy for myself but would love to receive as a gift. Let me know what is on your Christmas Beauty Wishlist!
