Hello everyone! Welcome to my blog. Today’s post is on my Autumn Favourites. Hope you enjoy!
Let’s start with Tarte’s Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Plummy Rose. This is gorgeous! It is the perfect my lips but darker and plummier. It smells like mint which is quite nice. The colour just goes with everything and I have been wearing it a lot this Autumn. It is a solid favourite.
My favourite nail polish has been Kester Black nail polish in Hydrate and Conquer. It has a weird name, right? It is a great dark reddish purple shade. This was definitely my most worn nail polish this Autumn. It goes opaque with one coat, but I often do two and it lasts very well for me, about 4-5 days without chipping.
My favourite hair product for the last three months has been the Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer. I use this after I have washed my hair while it is still wet to soften my hair and make it easier to comb through. I also use it as a heat protector when I heat style my hair (which is not often because I am lazy). This smells amazing and makes my hair feel softer which is great because I have pretty thick, coarse hair.
The next favourite is this palette. I bought it a few months ago. It is a Makeup Geek palette which I customised myself with my perfect Autumnal red and brown shades. These eye shadows are so pigmented and so lovely. I think I will have to do a review and swatch of this palette soon with all the shade names. So keep posted for that.
My favourite body product for Autumn has been the Body Shop Spa Wisdom Africa Honey and Beeswax Hand and Foot Butter. I bought this probably a few years ago (and I don’t think they sell it anymore which is so sad) but only used it sparingly because it smelt so good – like divine heavenly good. But I got this out recently because my mindset has changed and I thought – what is the point of having this lovely product if I don’t use it. So I have been using it as a hand cream every night and sometimes on my feet. It is a lovely rich buttery texture, sinks in really well and has kept my hands well moisturised this Autumn.
So thanks so much for reading! I would love to know your current favourite products, so feel free to comment below or leave a link to your most recent favourite products post for me to check out.
See you next time!
