Treat Yo’Self

That’s right people, today is the day to look after yourself. Exam time has arrived which basically means I study like a maniac and become a social hermit. And you know, I’m kind of okay with that. But it is important to take time out from study and try to relax. And for those times when I feeling like staying in, taking a study break and being a hermit these are some of the things I like to do and like to use.

 

First up is the Donna Hay Chocolate book. That’s right. You heard it. Although a recent edition to my cook book shelf I love it. It’s beautiful. As such I have been eating a lot of chocolate. A lot. Let’s move on.

 

After indulging in eating, cooking or just reading about chocolate I then will indulge in some beauty treats. First up is a hair mask. I love this one by Lush, the Jasmine and Henna Fluff-Ease. It smells divine. Need I say more…Well I will just say it leaves my hair feeling soft and the lovely scent can linger for days.

 

I will then go in with a face mask. My favourite is the Body Shop Honey and Oat 3 in 1 Scrub Mask. Again this smells amazing! I love putting this on my face because the smell lingers once you have washed it off. I love the consistency of this. It goes on pretty creamy, dries kind of like a clay mask and then when you wash it off you can feel the bits of oat gently scrubbing your face. Divine. It leaves my face feeling nice and soft and hydrated.

 

Normally that will be followed by a long hot shower. Then I like to slather my body in a body cream or butter. Going with the awesome smelling theme, I like the Yard Body Therapy Body Balm. It has quite a nutty scent which is nice.
