Winter Favourites

As Spring has now arrived in Australia, it is time for a Winter Favourites Post. As explained before, I prefer to do seasonal favourites rather than the normal monthly favourites because I don’t use that many products in a month and by doing it seasonally I get to share the products I have been loving and using for three months straight – so you know they are tried, tested and approved!

Body Shop Frosted Plum Body Butter. This product is divine. Although part of their Christmas collection and purchased way back in December last year, I only brought this out at the beginning of June when it started to get colder. The smell is just heavenly, it’s nice and fruity, but warm and comforting. It is not as thick as the traditional Body Shop body butter, but more like a soufflé texture. As you can see I am making my way through this!

Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 hour blush in Exposed. I have already mentioned these Tarte blushes on here before. They are a firm favourite of mine. This colour in particular just goes with everything and was particularly great at adding some colour to my face in a more natural way than some of my other brighter blushes.

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black. This has fast become one of my favourite perfumes. I bought it back in May/June. The website says it has notes of violet, sandalwood and vanilla. It is the heaviest perfume I own, and really it is still quite light. But I absolutely adore this and will have to buy the full size once I finish this roll on!

Bare Minerals Blush in Vintage Peach. I have been loving this blush for making me look more alive in the Winter time when my skin gets even paler. I especially loved using this on days when I wasn’t feeling particularly awake or well, because it has a bit of shimmer to it, so it just livens up my whole face.

Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron. This is a hyaluronic acid serum I slipped into my skincare routine between toner and moisturiser every 2 or 3 days during the winter. Normally in the winter I tend to get dry patches between my eyes and on my forehead, but I didn’t get them at all this winter and I think it is down to this serum.

Those were my winter favourites for 2016. Let me know in the comments what your favourite winter products are, or if you also love any of these products.

Thanks so much for stopping by, Christina xo
