Hello! This is another empties post. I love reading other people’s empties posts so I hope you will enjoy mine. As you can see there is a lot of Body Shop in here…I just love the Body Shop…moving on.
Natural Instinct Sensitive Conditioner: this was advertised as a ‘no nasties’ conditioner with natural ingredients for sensitive scalps. It definitely didn’t aggravate my scalp, which can get quite dry and irritated. However, to be able to run my fingers through my wet hair in the shower I had to use a lot, like a lot of this product. I found it didn’t condition my dry hair as much as I needed it to. Repurchase? No.
Body Shop Frosted Plum Sugar Scrub: this was divine. It was a limited edition Christmas scent, so I hope they bring it out again this year because the scrub and the matching body butter are amazing. It was a bit harsher than other body scrubs I have used, but the smell was amazing and it did a great job at exfoliating my body. Repurchase? Probably.
First Aid Beauty Cleanser: love this product! I think I have already raved about it on here. It is beautifully gentle on my face and leaves it feeling clean and soft. The best way I can describe it is like a Sorbolene cleanser. Repurchase? Already have.
Body Shop Aloe Deodorant: this was ok. I am still on the hunt for a good cruelty free deodorant. The struggles are real. This was nice, just not as effective as I needed it to be. Repurchase? No.
Body Shop Shea Body Butter: this smells divine and moisturises really well. I cannot wait to get my hands on a full tub of this body butter, but I am restricting myself from buying anymore until I finish some of the ones I currently have. Repurchase? As soon as I allow myself to!
Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter: I used this mini body moisturiser while travelling in Europe and it was the perfect size. I quite like the smell, but perhaps not as much as some of the other Body Shop Body Butters. Repurchase? Maybe.
Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream: I really like this night cream. It is the perfect combination of moisturising without feeling too thick or like it’s just sitting on my face and not sinking in. It is the perfect last layer in my skincare routine. Repurchase? Yes.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream: this was a nice surprise from FAB. I ended up using it while travelling as my night time moisturiser and sometimes in the day when I wasn’t going in the sun. It is just a really nice simple, gentle moisturiser. Repurchase? Yes.
So that’s it for my empties for the past couple of months. I would love to know if you have tried any of these products and what you thought. Also feel free to post a link to your last empties post if you write them as I would love to check it out.
Thanks for reading, Christina xo
