2016 Beauty Highlights

Welcome to my first post of 2017! Apologies it has taken me this long to blog this year. I am very excited for another year of my blog and I hope you will keep me company along the way. Today’s post is a quick round up of some of the best beauty highlights of 2016 – products that I loved and used fairly continuously throughout the year.

From left to right:

Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black perfume: my favourite perfume find in 2016, a lovely musky, spicy scent.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdressers’ Invisible Oil Primer: my favourite hair find in 2016, this is a great conditioning spray I use after I wash my hair. It is also a heat protectant.

Tarte Amazonian 12 Hour Clay Blush in Exposed: the perfect everyday colour all year round that goes with every look.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette: a beautiful present for 2016, I use this all the time to set makeup and add some glow.

Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Plummy Rose: another all year round favourite, a perfect my lips but darker and plummier shade.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in 01: the best budget friendly find for 2016 and my favourite concealer, this goes in creamy and covers really well under the eyes and on any spots.

Body Shop Honey Bronzer in 01: the perfect bronzer for light skinned girls!

Natio Daily Defence Moisturiser SPF50: the best skincare find of 2016, this day moisturiser has SPF50 and is non-greasy, perfect for Australian weather.

Body Shop Frosted Plum Body Butter: the best smelling body butter from the Body Shop last year for me was this Christmas edition Frosted Plum scent, absolutely divine.

Did you try any of these products in 2016? What did you think? Let me know in the comments below and feel free to subscribe for a whole new year of content!
