February Empties

Another empties post! Let’s do it!

Bare Minerals Original Foundation SPF15 in Fair: Although not quite finished, this was my first ever foundation and is well past its best by date. However, I only stopped using it recently as it has been a fantastic foundation. It can be a bit messy to work with, but it leaves a beautiful, soft focus finish on the skin, with a light to medium coverage. Perfect for my first foundation as a teenager, thanks Mum! I will definitely repurchase this in the future once I have used a few more of the foundations I currently have.

Kate Somerville Nourish Daily Moisturiser: I really liked this moisturiser! It has a great light weight consistency that sinks into the skin quickly and leaves my skin feeling hydrated. It also has a nice fresh citrus scent which I do enjoy. The only barrier to my buying this in the full size straight away is the price tag… I may wait and finish the products I currently have before I repurchase. This was only the travel size.

Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Facial Towelettes: I used these face wipes on the plane when traveling last year. For face wipes they were fairly gentle and the scent was quite nice and subtle. I have already repurchased this travel size packet for future travels.

Natio Daily Defence Face Moisturiser SPF50: I love this product. I have already raved about it on my blog here, but to sum it up it is a fantastic light weight hydrating moisturiser with a really high sunscreen. Perfect. Have already repurchased.

Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash: I have mixed feelings about this moisturiser. I only used it during the summer because it is a bit more stripping than my normal cleansers. I don’t think I will repurchase this as I have other cleansers which I prefer.

Body Shop Ginger Scalp Care Shampoo: I really liked this shampoo. I go through stages of having a dry, flaky, itchy scalp and this shampoo was great at making my hair clean but not aggravating my scalp at all. If anything it actually soothed my scalp. I did have to make sure I used a fairly heavy duty conditioner afterwards though because it sometimes felt a bit stripping. I will definitely repurchase this in the future.

Organic Care Dry Nourish Ultra Hydrating Conditioner: This was great value for money. It was a nice super conditioning affordable cruelty free conditioner easily available from my local supermarket. It is free from parabens, sulfates and mineral oil. I have already repurchased this conditioner with its matching shampoo.

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?

Thanks for reading, Christina xo
