Hey guys, I recently saw two posts by Jodi from A Brash Attitude and Ingrid from Curly Spring Blossom collaborating over a Project Pan post. They invited all their readers to take part, and I thought it was a really great idea, so this is my Project Pan. Basically, you choose a few products and set yourself a time period to try and finish them by. For me, it is not about just finishing products, but about using products that I have and love. It is a reminder to not get overwhelmed by other products I have and products being spammed on YouTube and blogs that I want to have. It is a reminder to appreciate the great products I have and use them. So I have chosen eight products to try and ‘pan’ (i.e. use up) in an eight week period.
Makeup/Perfume:
Nars duo of Laguna Bronzer and Orgasm blush. These are such hyped products and I definitely fell into the hype when I bought this mini duo. They are nice products, but the bronzer is a bit too dark for me as I am very fair. The blush is gorgeous though. Pan Status: hardly dented.
Australis Tint My Brow brow gel. This is a pretty good brow gel. It doesn’t leave my brows too crispy, but it is a bit warm toned. Pan Status: practically full.
Clinique Superbalanced Foundation in 27 Alabaster. This is my first liquid foundation that I bought several years ago. It is a really nice foundation, but it is not cruelty free so I wish to use it up but not repurchase. Pan Status: half full.
Archibald Sisters Fig perfume. My sister bought this for me a few years ago in America. It is a gorgeous strong fig scent. I prefer wearing this in summer. Pan Status: 7/8 full.
Hair/Skin/Body:
Garnier Fructis Heat Protection Cream Sleek and Shine 72hr. I’ve had this for a few years now, and it is a nice hydrating heat protection cream, but I honestly just forget to use it. Pan Status: 2/3 full.
Coast to Coast Ultra Gentle Facial Polish Wild Rosella and Oatmeal. Although not that old I want to use this exfoliator up because there are others I want to try. I also need a reminder to use physical exfoliants so this will be a perfect chance to improve my skincare routine. Pan Status: half full.
Mecca Cosmetica To Save Face SPF 30 Facial Sunscreen. This is a good sunscreen, but not great. It does leave my face a little greasy so I prefer to use it at the beach instead of as an everyday sunscreen. Pan Status: half full.
Body Shop Madagascan Vanilla Flower Body Lotion. I went on a huge Body Shop body butter/lotion spree in 2016 and have a few to get through. I really like this scent, and as a lotion it is perfect as a lighter summer body moisturiser. Unfortunately I think they have discontinued this scent. Pan Status: 1/4 full.
Have you heard of Project Pan? Have you done it or do you want to? Let me know your experiences in the comments below.
Thank you for reading! Christina xo
If your liquid cosmetics or haircare products are couple of years old, you should just throw them away. It’s not good to use expired cosmetics.

Thanks for that! Yeah, I have thrown a few away that were old and bad, but these are still good I think anyway, no funny smells or discolouration, so I really don’t want to waste them!

I started doing project pans in February and it has really opened my eyes to how long some products last and it’s also a great feeling when you finish something! I have been posting it to my blog in case you want to see how I’ve been doing but I’m following you now so I can see how you do too! Good luck girl!
