Capsule Wardrobe Changeover – Summer to Autumn

Another season, another capsule. I can appreciate the repetitiveness of these posts, but I love doing them because they make me reflect on my wardrobe and choices I have made. Let me know in the comments if you guys like seeing these posts.

This is a gorgeous light jumper from Sussans with a frilly hemline. The colour is so up my street and it looks super cute on!

Over the summer I did go a little off list and bought items that I did not need, but wanted. It was a splurge, but I really enjoy the end product. It made me feel like I had a whole new wardrobe, especially once I swapped out summer for autumn as most of the pieces I bought are more autumn/winter related.

I bought a new pair of jeans from Uniqlo as I have been unimpressed by my recent jeans purchases not lasting how I wanted them to or fitting properly. I also like the lighter colour which I have never had before but which I think will work well in Autumn and then Spring.

I still have a smaller number of clothing items in my wardrobe than before my capsule, but I did not worry about numbers this time round, but just enjoyed the process of putting together a wardrobe that I love and items that will make some great outfits.

I love this coat! It is a perfect mix of a cardigan and coat from Sussans. It fits really well and drapes nicely when on. I know I will get a lot of wear out of this!

Have you tried a capsule wardrobe? What do you think about them? Let me know in the comments below.

Thanks for reading, Christina xo
