April/May Empties

Hello! Today’s post is an empties, where I tell you about my thoughts on products I have recently finished and whether or not I would repurchase.

Epsom Salts: Great for adding to a bath to help relax muscles. I tend to buy just plain epsom salts instead of scented (and more expensive) bath salts which contain epsom salts so I can add my Body Shop calming oil with lavender. Have already repurchased.

Organic Care Dry Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner: I think I have featured these hair products in an empties before. They are cheap, contain no sls or parabens, are cruelty free, vegan and are Australian made and owned. And they do a decent job of cleaning and conditioning my hair. I will repurchase this again in the future.

La Chinata Soaps: My parents brought this back from Italy for me last year so I know absolutely nothing about the brand, but these were actually really nice olive soaps. They contained olive oil and shea butter which made them really nourishing.

Dusk Rainforest Retreat candle: This was quite a strong and unusual scent from what I’ve had before. It had a distinct outdoorsy, citrus, wood smell. I did quite enjoy it but found the candle didn’t burn evenly and so it wasted a lot of product. Will not be repurchasing.

Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture SPF 15: This is so old and I stopped using it when I found some great cruelty free alternatives. So although this is strictly not an empty product, I can’t see myself going back to it and won’t repurchase it.

Have you tried any of these products? What are your thoughts? I hope you found this helpful!

Thanks for reading, Christina xo
