Hey guys, welcome to another antihaul where I let you guys know what I won’t be buying. These posts are a refreshing way to keep it real and not get sucked into the hype around every new makeup release. It’s not that these products are bad, but just that they don’t appeal to me and I would rather spend my money on other products that I have been eyeing for a while and that I would use on the regular.
Kat Von D Pastel Goth Eyeshadow Palette $60: These colours do not appeal to me. The only colours I could see myself wearing are the second from the left and third and second from the right. For the more adventurous this could be an awesome palette.
Anastasia Beverley Hills Contour Kit $70: Now I’m pretty sure this is an old product from ABH but it came up as new on the Sephora website. Anyhow, I am not into contouring at all, even though it is such a huge trend. Unfortunately this palette would be wasted on me.
Urban Decay The Velvetizer Translucent Mix-In Medium $55: This looks like such an interesting but weird product. It is a powder that you mix into your foundation to change its finish to velvet. Would that even work?! Or would it make the foundation all gloopy. I think I would rather buy foundations that I actually liked the finish of… But it is a cool concept if it works!
Marc Jacobs Beauty Enamored Hi-Shine Gloss Lip Lacquer Lipgloss $42: This could indeed be the best lipgloss in the world…I don’t know, I haven’t tried it… but I don’t wear lipgloss very often and I could never justify spending $42 on a product I would hardly ever wear.
What products are in your antihaul list? I would love to know in the comments below and if you have a recent antihaul post feel free to link it in the comments.
Thanks for reading, Christina xo
$70 for a contour palette is so expensive! There’s so many cheaper ones that would work great.

I know right! Especially for a product that doesn’t get used everyday.

I’m so intrigued with the urban decay velvetizer, that I may actually try it.

It is such an interesting concept isn’t it. I think they had other similar ‘mix-in mediums’ that did other things.

These are some great picks 🙂 I know I don’t find that eyeshadow palette appealing either. I feel like the two brands that don’t appeal to me at all just because of the price is Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford. I’ve tried samples and testers of both brands, and they work really well, but not enough to justify those prices.

Thanks for reading and commenting. I agree, I find it really hard to justify spending that amount of money on products that I can get cheaper from another brand. I have one Marc Jacobs lipstick and I only caved and got it when Sephora had their sale!
