Current Cruelty Free Makeup Routine

Hello! Welcome back to another post on a super simple and classic, everyday makeup routine.

When using a powder foundation I like to start with my concealer. I am still using my favourite Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in 1 Fair. I use this under my eyes, around my nose and on any spots. Once blended I go in with my Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation in Fair Honey. I tend to go fairly light on this as I don’t need full coverage, but it can be built up. For blush I have been enjoying the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Exposed. It is a great mauve/nude that goes with lots of makeup looks and outfits. To finish off the base I use my Body Shop Radiant Highlighter. This is a beautiful pinky pearl liquid highlight that catches light beautifully on the cheekbones and inner corner of the eyes.

I have been loving the Essence Make Me Brow in 01 Blondy Brows for keeping my eyebrow hairs in place while adding some extra oomph. The colour is an ashy light brown and it has extra fibres in it which help bulk up the brows. To add something to the eyes I have just been using mascara. I am currently using the Soap and Glory Thick and Fast mascara. Depending on what I am doing and where I am going, the lip tends to change. But for an easy no fuss lip I have been using the NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brulee. It adds a nice soft pink gloss to the lips, is quite moisturising and smells like vanilla.

Do you use any of these products in your daily makeup routine? What are your current favourite cruelty free makeup products?

Thanks so much for reading, Christina xo

  1. I really liked using the Tarte powder foundation last summer! I completely forgot about it this summer but I loved the mesh part of it for getting product on the brush. It made things super easy. The Tarte blushes are great too. xo J
