Fashion Trends – Ethical Fashion Alternatives

Hello! I am so excited to be writing this post today and I hope you guys find it really helpful! I have been scouring the internet to find pieces from ethical fashion brands that align with current fashion trends. Now, I should preface this post by saying I am by no means a fashion expert or even a very fashionable person. I have a style (I think) and I generally stick to more classic pieces but there are sometimes some trends that catch my eye. I have been watching lots of YouTube hauls and keeping an eye on Instagram and checking out fast fashion shops to see what kind of trends are around at the moment, or have been around for a while. I have then popped online to try and find ethical fashion alternatives, and there are some great ones! So this post will hopefully inspire you to check out some of these ethical fashion pieces instead of going straight to your normal fast fashion stores.

The Dungaree by Kowtow

This 90s fashion item is back! I love the colour and straight leg fit of this one. This trend is for anyone wanting to relive their childhood.

Tie Detail Dress by Bhalo

Tie details are all around at the moment and I think they look really cute when done in a simplistic way like this dress. I also adore the colour of this dress!

Simple T-Shirt with Little Logo by People Tree

I absolutely love this trend of simple t-shirts (often either white or striped) with a cute little logo (often red) on the front. It is so wearable and so cute!

Striped Pants by Reformation

I have only recently become aware of this trend and I’m not 100% convinced. Although I think it looks great on some people, I don’t think I could pull it off. It’s just a little too prison/bananas in pajamas for me.

Cold Shoulder Dress by Elegantees

Cold shoulders are still hanging around! I absolutely adore this lilac purple dress with the cold shoulder detail. It is a very elegant way to wear this trend.

Gingham Skirt by Arkins

This very elegant blue and white gingham skirt gives a nod to the traditional black and white gingham trend. It is a beautiful piece perfect for spring or summer.

I would love to know your thoughts on any of these items above and whether it has inspired you to check out some ethical fashion brands! Also please let me know in the comments below if you would like another post on ethical fashion trend alternatives as I have loved researching this one!

Thanks so much for reading, Christina xo
