Hey guys, welcome to another favourites post! I am still doing seasonal favourites, but think I may change in the New Year to monthly…any thoughts? It has been a weird winter. We’ve only have a few bouts of cold weather, the rest has been pretty mild. I mean, it is Australia. I have had a few stand out favourites that have got a lot of love this winter, so let’s get into it!
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blush in Exposed: An absolute classic in the beauty world. It looks like I haven’t even touched this blush, but believe me I have and a little goes a long way! This blush is pigmented! The colour is just perfect for when you don’t know what to wear and just want something that will go with any makeup or outfit look.
Lush Chocolate Lip Scrub: There were a few times this winter when my lips got a bit dry and needed some TLC. This lip scrub was awesome. Firstly, it smells (and tastes) like chocolate orange. Secondly, it is abrasive enough to exfoliate well. And thirdly, it is gentle and has hydrating ingredients to leave my lips smooth and soft.
Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black: I’ve been featuring this a bit on my Instagram recently (go check it out if you haven’t!) as I have been wearing it a lot. It is quite strong so a little goes a long way. It’s a divine, sexy, slightly spicy smell.
Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara: This is a great mascara! I can use it sparingly and get a really natural look, or really build it up and go bold!
Aromas with Argan Oil Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner: My sister gave me this set to try and I love it! This brand is Australian made and owned, vegan, sulfate free and paraben free. It has a light floral smell (sometimes verging on old lady), but the smell doesn’t really linger. The shampoo leaves my hair clean but not stripped. And the conditioner goes a long way to leave my hair super soft and smooth.
What were your favourites this winter? Or summer, depending on where you are?! Let me know in the comments below.
