Hello again! Welcome to another ethical alternatives to fast fashion trends. I did a post on this a couple of weeks ago (check it out here) and it seemed to go down well/I really enjoyed researching it, so here is another one!
The boyfriend jean has been a huge trend for a while now and I can see why. Who doesn’t want to wear comfy, loose fitted jeans as opposed to the skinny jeans we have been trying to squeeze into.
I think this is a really cute style of dress. Super easy and casual to wear. I like the way this dress has incorporated contrasting stripes, it adds a nice dimension.
Cropped Flared/Ruffle Hem Pant – by Reformation
Freddy My Love rocks this trend in her white and pink versions of the ruffle hem pant. These are a more classic version in black. I’m not sure I’m brave enough to rock this trend, but I think it looks really cool and would actually be quite wearable.
Bardot style tops have been in for a while, and if I could find a strapless bra that fit me, I would be all over this one! I adore the vibrant print on this top and the cinched in waist makes it super flattering.
I’m pretty sure I had the gingham trend in my last post on fashion trends, but here it is again because it is so big and doesn’t seem to be going away. As it is such a bold print I like it in smaller items like this top to make it more wearable.
I love this trend. It is super simple but adds a touch of femininity to an outfit. The flutter sleeve on this dress for example takes it from a simple t-shirt dress to a cute, playful dress.
Did any of these slow fashion pieces inspire you to try out the trends in an ethical way? I really hope you found this helpful, if not for the trends, then just for some ethical fashion brands.
