Morning Skincare Routine – Cruelty Free

My morning skincare routine is pretty basic. Even though I love my skincare, I am lazy, and so I keen my morning skincare routine pretty simple.

I always cleanse my skin in the morning. At the moment I am using the Yes To Cucumbers Soothing Daily Gel Cleanser. It is an ok cleanser, but I have other ones I prefer. It is enough to refresh my face and get rid of any oil or dirt from the night.

I then use a toner. I love the Body Shop Drops of Youth Essence Lotion. It is super refreshing and leaves my skin so hydrated. Sometimes I forget to put on moisturiser because my skin feels so hydrated and plumped after using this essence.

More often than not I will use my Natio Daily Defence Face Moisturiser SPF50. I live in Australia and need all the sun protection I can get. This is the best daily moisturiser I have found so far with a high SPF that sinks in and doesn’t leave my face greasy. Lately though, during Winter and on predominantly inside days, I have been trying out the Formula 10.0.6 Picture Perfect Day Gel Moisturiser SPF15. This is a fine moisturiser, does the job, but nothing special.

And then I am done for the day! Either I let my skin be and breathe or I will put on some makeup depending on what’s happening for the day.

What is involved in your morning skincare routine? I would love to know in the comments below.

  1. What is your favorite mild cleanser, if any? And I live in New York so the seasons always changing but so far because of the cold weather I use cetaphil cleanser, estee lauder spf 15 moisterizer, vitamin e oil at night if i feel like my skin needs hydration, and a clinique moisture surge night mask
