Empties! – Blogmas Day 1

Hey, welcome to Blogmas Day 1! I’ve finished quite a lot of products recently and I hope this review will help you in your next cruelty free beauty purchases!

Lavanilla The Healthy Deodorant in Vanilla Grapefruit: I had heard good things about the Lavanilla deodorants as a more natural product, but found that it didn’t really work that well. I mainly used this at night before bed. Would not repurchase.

Body Shop Oils of Life Facial Oil: This was a little sample that came with an order a while ago and it has lasted ages! A little goes a long way. I really enjoyed using this oil as an all round hydration/plumping/fixing my face oil. I would probably try this in a full size in the future.

Davines Love Shampoo and Conditioner: These were gorgeous hair products. They both smelt divine! I enjoyed both products, but probably have a slight preference for the conditioner. I thought it did a really good job at leaving my hair super soft. I’m tempted to buy these again, but they are a bit pricey.

Lucas Papaw Ointment: This product was meh. I bought it a long time ago when it was a super hyped product. I liked it on dry lips but don’t find it as effective as some other lip balms I have. I won’t be buying this again.

Body Shop Cocoa Body Butter: Love this! The scent is amazing…chocolate heaven. But not sickly sweet. I will definitely buy this again, but need to finish a few more body butters I have waiting!

Aromas with Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner: I really enjoyed using these products. The shampoo did a great job at cleaning my hair, but was sometimes a little stripping. The conditioner was perfection. Every time it left my hair amazingly soft and I didn’t even need to use that much product. I would love to buy the conditioner again.

Body Shop British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask: I don’t normally include samples unless I am really impressed with it…and boy this mask was amazing! The smell was like sitting in a bed of roses. It felt super nice and cooling on the skin and left it feeling soft and plumped. Am definitely interested in buying this in a full size in the future.

MOR Candle: This was a really nice little candle. Smelt like gardenia…I think. I would consider buying it in the future or checking out other MOR candles.

Soap and Glory Flake Away: This was a really nice scrub in texture, however I found the smell quite overwhelming at times. It is a super sweet scent. I probably would still consider buying this again in the future or maybe checking out their other scents.

Body Shop Black Musk Shower Gel: This was a  lovely shower gel. It smelt nice and foamed well. Nothing spectacular but was nice to use. I’m unsure whether I would buy this again.

Mitchum Clinical Gel Deodorant: This is the only deodorant that is working for me at the moment. Apparently it is cruelty free, but there is little information on this so I’m not 100% sure. I am still on the hunt for a more natural deodorant that works. But I have already repurchased this.

Have you tried any of these products? What did you think of them? I would love to know in the comments below. Hope you found this helpful.

Thanks for reading, Christina xo
