2 Easy Sustainability Swaps

Hey! Today’s post is on two things you can swap to be a more sustainable and conscious consumer. One of my New Years Goals was to make more conscious decisions and these two items I have swapped into my life help me make more ethical choices in my everyday. They are super easy swaps to make and I encourage you to do the same!

The first swap is a reusable water bottle. It can be glass, recyclable plastic, steel, etc. so long as it can be washed and use over and over again. I bought this one from Frank Green. It is plastic, but I didn’t want glass because it was a bit heavier, and this can be recycled at the end of its life.

The second swap is a reusable coffee cup. If you think about how many coffees you get in a week, or a month, or a year, it adds up quickly and that’s a lot of waste. A reusable coffee cup is such a great way to reduce our waste in a super easy way. This one is from Keep Cup. They come in so many different colour combinations and even have themed cups. For example I bought my boyfriend a Storm Trooper Keep Cup.

So those are two easy sustainable swaps you can make today to help the planet and make more conscious decisions. Have you got either of these? What are some other easy sustainable swaps you make in your everyday? I would love to get a conversation started in the comments below.

Thanks so much for reading, Christina xo

  1. I loved this post! 2 years ago I ran a campaign whilst at uni to make sure all students and staff were using reusable coffee cups. Our local cafe gave us a discount code for a week and I gave out free mugs on campus, I hope it made a difference. I recently just posted 5 tip for sustainability in interior design, would love for you to check it out. Happy Weekend!
