Hey guys! Today’s post is on my current quick and minimal everyday makeup routine using some gorgeous cruelty free beauty products. You may notice that two of the products featured in my January Favourites post, so sorry for the repetition, but they are great products and I have been using them almost every time I wear makeup. Anyway, let’s get started!
For my base I have been using the IT Cosmetics CC Cream with SPF 50 in the shade Fair. I live in Australia, so we are in the middle of Summer and having a product with a high SPF is a must. This foundation gives a gorgeous natural, dewy finish and can be built up or sheered out depending on whether I use my fingers, a sponge or a brush. For concealer I have been loving the Glossier Stretch Concealer in Light. It gives a light to medium coverage with a natural/dewy finish. I find this concealer pairs really well with the CC Cream. I use this under my eyes, around my nose and on any spots.
For blush I have been loving the Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam. It is a liquid blush that blends seamlessly into the skin and gives a natural pinky/peachy flush. You don’t need a lot of product and I find it blends out well with fingers.
I then go in with my Face of Australia Brow Gel. A lot of product comes off the brush, so I tend to wipe a lot of it off first. But the colour is the perfect light brown, not too warm or too grey. It has fibres in it which adds some texture to the brows but it also holds them in place.
For mascara, I am still using the Soap and Glory Thick and Fast mascara. It may be time to say goodbye to this one, but I am trying to use it all up! With a light hand you can get beautiful, fluttery, natural lashes and with a heavier hand you can get dramatic, lengthened and slightly clumpy lashes. So I find this a great all round mascara that I can use for any event.
Finally, my lip product. This does change quite a bit but I have found myself reaching for the Marc Jacobs New Nudes Sheer Lip Gel in 114 Understudy a lot. It is my perfect shade of pink…not too bright but not nude either. It feels very nice on the lips, not drying at all. It is not matte, but not shiny either…kind of like a balm.
Do you use any of these products in your daily makeup routine? What do you think of them? Let me know in the comments below.
Thanks so much for reading, Christina xo

An interesting selection of products! I haven’t tried any of these before, mostly as it seems we look for different qualities in our makeup products. I tend to wear a separate sunscreen rather than wear a base with sunscreen as well. X

Wow, I love how you’ve condensed your collection!
