Hello! Welcome to my blog 🙂 I recently went on a trip away to Japan and Hong Kong for a few weeks and these were the cruelty free makeup items I took away with me! In hindsight I didn’t need to take this much, but as always I over packed thinking I would need options. In reality I only wore makeup maybe half the time and kept it super minimal. But here are the products I took away with me!
Base:
Koh Gen Do Moisture Foundation: sheer to medium coverage velvet finish foundation that can be applied with a brush or fingers.
Glossier Stretch Concealer: a new all time favourite of mine, super hydrating and best applied with fingers.
Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder: nice, fine powder with a little bit of coverage (don’t think it is cruelty free unfortunately).
Body Shop Honey Bronzer: a gorgeous, silky, light bronzer in the perfect shade of not too orange and not too grey.
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush: a pigmented, long lasting blush that gives a beautiful flush to the cheeks.
Bare Minerals Blush: gorgeous coral colour blush with some gold shimmer throughout.
Body Shop Highlighter: a gorgeous pinky cream highlight that didn’t get used on this trip.
Eyes/Brows
Body Shop Down to Earth Palette: the perfect palette for travelling with four neutral brown/grey shades and a good sized mirror.
Soap and Glory Thick and Fast Mascara: great for fluttery lashes as well as more intense voluminous lashes.
Face of Australia Brow Sculpting Gel: the perfect ashy brown, but be warned, a lot of product comes out on the brush.
Lips
Essence Matt Matt Matt Lipstick: a really nice, matte, mauve/nude lipstick (and super affordable!).
Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick: a creamy lipstick that leaves a beautiful sheen on the lips in a mauve colour.
Bite Beauty double ended Lipstick: unfortunately I didn’t reach for this on the trip, but it has a pink on one end and a nude on the other.
What beauty products do you take with you when travelling? I would love to know in the comments below and any tips for packing my makeup for next time!
Thanks so much for reading, Christina xo
Aso everything cruelty-free plus as natural as possible. For travelling I take the less makeup possible. Or maybe I was taking. I don’t use much make up anymore.

So lovely! I haven’t actually tried anything from Bourjois, but I’ve heard great things.
