Hello! Welcome to my blog. Today’s post is a follow up from a couple of weeks ago when I talked about changing over from my student wardrobe to my new work wardrobe (if you want to read about that, click here). I finally got around to cleaning out my wardrobe, letting some things go, adding my new items and making it more seasonally appropriate.
Here is my finished wardrobe! Hanging up in my wardrobe, on the top are tops and dresses and on the bottom are pants and jackets/coats. As you can see on the left, there’s a lot more knitwear than I’ve ever had before. I bought a few pieces to wear that are work appropriate, plus I have my more casual jumpers.
I bought out my scarves from storage. I tried to put the scarves that I wear the least in this autumn wardrobe to challenge myself to wear them more. I also got my cosy jumpers and trackpants out, oh yeah! And…the piece de resistance…my fluffy dressing gown!
As you can see there are a lot more collared shirts and work appropriate tops than I’ve had before. But I still did struggle to leave out my favourite t-shirts…there are still five in here, which is too many considering I only get to wear them on weekends. But I will hopefully get better at this as time goes on!
So there it is! My autumn capsule wardrobe transitioning from a student wardrobe to a work wardrobe! What do you think? Any tips for next time?
Thanks so much for reading, Christina xo
