Hello! Welcome to my blog. I write about cruelty free makeup, skincare and haircare, as well as ethical/slow fashion and capsule wardrobes. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you stay and read some of my other posts. Today I will be starting my 2019 Project Pan which will be focusing on makeup. I like the idea of a project pan because it makes you look at the products you already own, appreciate them and actually enjoy using them. It’s not about wasting products – it’s about valuing them.
So in 2019, I will be focusing on a few things:
- Older products in my collection to use them before they expire
- Not buying new products until I have finished a few other products
- Experimenting with different combinations of products
- Using products that I love (so they don’t go to waste)
I’m going to focus on 7 products at a time, and when I finish one, replacing it with another to try and ‘pan’ (finish) it. So this Project Pan will be continuous for 2019.
The products I will be starting with are: Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation in Fair Honey (pretty much full); Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue in 02 Vanilla (maybe half way used); Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in 01 (maybe half way used); Bare Minerals Blush in Vintage Peach (only has a tiny dent); Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer mini (hardly touched); Tarte Amazonian Butter lipstick in Plummy Rose (has a solid dent); Body Shop Colour Crush lipstick in 315 (has a slight dent).
I will keep you guys updated along the way. So feel free to subscribe so you don’t miss out on any 2019 Project Pan – Makeup updates.
Have you done any project pans before? How did you go?
Thanks so much for reading, Christina xo
I think that a continuous project pan is such a great way to do this. I look forward to reading about your progress!

Thanks! Yeah, I’m keen to see if continuous works better for me than a 3 month or 6 month project pan.
