Cruelty Free Empties – Pt 1 Makeup

My favourite post to write and favourite post to read – empties! I’m making a little series of these over the next week or so because I had finished so many products, so enjoy and be sure to subscribe if you want to see more soon!

Inika Pure Primer was a fine primer. I don’t tend to use primer so this was used sporadically. But it was nice, a bit silicone feely but still hydrating. I wouldn’t purchase again though as I just don’t wear primer.

I went through one foundation, the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream. I enjoyed this product used sparingly. But if I put on too much it did look cakey. I might repurchase again, but I think there are other bases I would like to try first.

I didn’t entirely use up this product but it was getting old. The Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot powder was a nice pressed setting powder. It never looked powdery but set everything quite well. I can’t purchase this in Australia so won’t be able to buy again anytime soon. But again, I think there are other powders I would like to try first.

I used to love this concealer. The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is medium to high coverage and creamy. Sometimes I found it looking a little bit heavy and dry under the eyes if I used too much. Again, I can’t purchase in Australia but would consider buying it again if I could!

Finally, the Tarte Amazonian Butter Lipstick in Plum Rose (I think…) was divine, gorgeous. I loved this lipstick, but it was getting quite old and I felt it needed to go. I have very similar colours in my collection so won’t repurchase straight away, but would be very tempted in the future!

Have you tried any of these products? Did you like them?

Thanks so much for reading, Christina xo
