Cruelty Free Empties – Pt 4 Skincare

The final instalment of my recent empties – skincare! There’s a lot so let’s jump in.

I went through this huge Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel. This is by far one of my favourite cleansers and I already have another one on the go! It’s super gentle and effective.

The Nip and Fab Glycolic Pads is probably my favourite acid exfoliator, however I would like to find an alternative that doesn’t create as much waste with the disposable pads so I haven’t repurchased yet.

The Natio Daily Defence Moisturiser was my go to daily moisturiser with SPF, however I’m on a journey to try and find a daily moisturiser with a physical SPF instead of a chemical one. It’s not going well, so I might end up going back to this one.

I went through two Antipodes products – the Avocado Pear night cream and Divine Face oil. To be honest I don’t think I’ll purchase these again. I couldn’t quite get past the herbal smell of the night cream and there are other oils I prefer.

The Coast to Coast Soothing Cleanser was a nice gel cleanser, but nothing special, so I won’t be repurchasing.

The Body Shop Skin Defence SPF was super light and non greasy but a bit drying and had such a strong chemical smell, so I won’t be repurchasing.

I loved the Indeed Labs Hydraluron moisturising lotion! Such a beautiful, thick, hydrating, almost balm like texture but not greasy at all. Have already repurchased!

I finally finished this Cleanse with Benefits Kaolin Mask. It was a clay powder that you added water to to make a paste. This was a super clarifying mask, so great for spotty days but it could be drying. I have not repurchased this one.

What skincare products have you finished recently? Would love to know in the comments below.
